1. Who sends the messages

Aradiq is a texting service operated by AFSHAHIN Corporation (Toronto, Ontario, Canada). Businesses such as spas, salons, barbers, clinics and home-service companies use Aradiq to text their own clients. Each message is sent by the business, through Aradiq, and ends with the business's name, for example: "- Glow Spa. Reply STOP to opt out."

2. How you join (opt-in)

You receive texts from a business because you gave that business your mobile number as its client — for example when booking an appointment, at check-in, or on an intake form — and agreed to receive texts about your appointments and visits. Businesses using Aradiq must have your consent or an existing business relationship with you, as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and other applicable laws. Businesses are not allowed to use purchased lists or send cold marketing texts through Aradiq.

3. Types of messages

• Rebook reminders — a reminder that it's time to book your next visit, sent some weeks after your last appointment.
• Review requests — after a visit, a request to leave a review on Google, with a link.
• Replies and conversations — one-to-one messages from the business in response to you, or about your appointment.

4. Message frequency

Message frequency varies depending on how often you visit and the business's settings — typically a few messages per month or fewer. Automatic messages are only sent during each business's chosen sending hours (by default 10 am to 7 pm local time).

5. Cost

Aradiq does not charge you to receive texts. Msg & data rates may apply according to your mobile plan.

6. How to opt out

Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END or QUIT) to any message. You'll receive one confirmation text, and that business will not text you again through Aradiq. Your opt-out is kept even if the business deletes or re-imports your details. Because Aradiq may send texts for several businesses from the same phone number, replying STOP may also stop texts from other businesses that use Aradiq. To start receiving texts again, reply START.

7. Help

Reply HELP to any message for help, or email support@aradiq.com. For questions about your appointment, contact the business directly.

8. Your privacy

Mobile numbers and opt-in data are never sold or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes. Your number is used only to send you messages from the business you have a relationship with, and is shared only with service providers that deliver the messages (such as our SMS carrier partner Twilio). 9. Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and device and is not guaranteed.

10. Changes
